hello all. the tires on my 97 f250 are starting to go, and its time to get new ones. i have a general idea of what im going to do, and i know i want to include wide rims (10-12 inches). i know of a couple of guys running stuff like this on stock broncos with minimal rubbing. i wanted to level out the stance a little bit to prevent any serious rubbing, and i was wondering if add-a-leafs will do it up front. are they safe? will they do what i want them to? or should i just i just go for a real leveling kit? i wanted to lift it all, but i dont have the money, so im just doing this for now, and keep ill crawling around some malls! thanks in advance.
EDIT: i forgot to ask if anyone knows the height difference between the front and back leafs of the 1997 F-250 heavy duty xlt 4x4 standard cab, 8 foot bed. thanks.

i am runnig 16x10 aluminum rims with 35" buckshots wrapped around them on my 96 F350. i love the way my setup looks and rides and i dont have a leveling kit with absolutely N0 rubbing!
add a leafs are safe but they will stiffen your ride up some and an F250 already is kinda stiff, lol
well the front leafs are almost perfectly level if not perfectly level (mine are) and the rear leafs have several inches of positive arch, i dunno exactly by how much but there is a very definite difference

cutts, thats the look in going for, but wider. my front leafs are upside down, and you can definatley tell they are arched. sometimes, my truck looks level, and sometimes, you can tell its shorter up front, and i guess its a personal thing, but i'd like to level it out. i look into it. thanks
