I think I posted this in the wrong place before...my buddy has a 460 motor which he will give me and I am thinking of putting in my 79 F250 someday....but its been sitting outside for about a year...will it still be "rebuildable" ??
See my site at www.beedzncomputers.com and you'll see the results of a 460 that had sat in the yard for SEVERAL years. I had it bored and decked and alinged and shotpeened, balanced - you NAME it. The thing screams....good thing I'm not young & careless anymore - this motor would have me in BIG trouble!!
I peeked Geek....hey she is nice looking .... your ol' lady's not too bad either!! Wish mine looked that good when she got painted up...was I talking about the lady or the motor...sigh I can't remember.
Seriously though, nice truck...When I get started rebuilding that 460 I will cuss ya...I mean let ya know
Wah hah ha ha ha!!!.....That's my Fiancee!!...and we're getting married in 2 weeks!!....that's why I can't make it to the Pigeon Forge deal this year...maybe next year. Hey, when you get through with the 460, be sure to get yourself one of those 40 gallon fuel tanks, too, like I did. The 460 loves to suck gas....I have a platinum card at Texaco....
My web site is under construction; please forgive....
