Exhaust ?
I have a 04 F 250 was wondering if anybody has put a stright pipe in place of the muffler. Now I no a cat back is a better option but with x mas just around the corner just looking for a cheap way to get a little more growel for the bite if you know what I mean.

I just recently had a Bullydog 4" Stainless installed in my '04 F350 KR.
Don't know what your budget is like, but this was a decent investment. Sounds great and the added 10-20 HP is nice too

I just put a 4" Turbo back exhaust system by flo pro, it is the best fitting system I have ever had (I have had about 20 exhaust systems in the past) It has a 4" down pipe whereas some claim 3.5" down pipe is the biggest that will fit. It was $400 plus $75 for the 5" tip installed. It deletes the cat and has a straight thru muffler.

I have the muffler deleted on my truck and with the windows up and radio on or off you really can't here it much more than stock. On the highway above 2k rpms you get some drone but, i don't think it is much. If you drive normal you will be able to hear the whistle a little more than normal but if you get on it hard you will get the throatyer noise. I keep my slider open or my back window if I want to hear it better. I had my local custom shop weld a piece of pipe in mine for $50. Glad i did it (worth it for the low price) Can't tell you about EGT's since i don't have a pyro yet.

Thanks triplethreat thats what I was looking for just a cheap fix till this spring then i,m ording a complete banks kit. just want to put some miles on the truck before I really put the ponys to her.
