1992 F-150 issues
I just bought a 1992 F-150 w/4.9 straight six, 5-speed manual,dual tanks and two wheel drive 142,000 miles.I only paid $500, it runs like a top and the tranny's good the shackles are broke, but i know how to repair those.Im having some trouble w/starting i have to turn the truck over for a lil while before she fires.New, plugs, and wires,and fuel pumps.Also my clutch pedal is sticking on the way back up.It goes up 3/4 the way then sticks and pops up the rest of the way.Another issue is when im going down the road theres a vibration in the front end at around 45 miles an hour it goes away after that though before 35mph nothing,could be a wheel bearing or a bad tire, but any other suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try this to see if it helps with the hard to start problem. Turn the key on but do not turn it to the start position. You should hear the fuel pump run for about 2 seconds. Turn the key off, then on again. Repeat this 3 or 4 times and then try starting it. If it starts easily after building up the fuel pressure, the problem could be the fuel pressure regulator or leaky injector(s). How's the fuel filter? ...Terry '90 F150, 302
