Just curious to see how much a torque converter is for the 00' Strokes. Also wanted to know if there are any "severe duty" converters out there.

That is cheap, when my tranny ate it, I got some custom one from some dude down in Vacouver that custom builds them. $850, Triple disk, some other mojo I won't even pretend to repeat like I know what he did. My tranny builder uses this guy exclusively though for all the circle track cars, and tow rig tranny's he builds.

I priced them for my 99 and found Banks to be $1,050.00 (just converter) and my local Ford dealer was $1,000.00 converter & Installation.. These are the only 2 I got actual prices for. Online I think the BD's were aroung $800.00

Lukecline:

Precision makes converters for us?!

I use them for my Buick stuff. I will definately look into them. I have never had a problem with Precision, I hope they would become a contributor to this site. They have wonderful products and a great staff.

Thanks for the replies.
