Here goes nothing!
Well I started dismanteling my truck this weekend. I pulled off the grill, fenders, box, hood, and doors. I started painting today and got a great coat on my new doors and fenders. I'm repainting it a Ford color called smoke. It kinda of looks like glossy gray primer to me. So far so good. I'm keeping my blue interior so i don't have to much work to do in there. After this is all done I'm converting my 77 grille to a 78-79 style with the square (rectangular) headlights. Any body want a complete 77 grill? minor scatches and new plastic. Any ways so far so good for painting and body work under my garage lights. I think I'm going to have about $150 bucks in the new paint job (my time is worth nothing). I just can't wait to roll down the road in my freshly painted Ford. Sorry for ranting but I'm excited.
