We took the rear springs off my recently acquired '68 highboy and all the bushing were of course shot, but in addition the bolt holes in the passenger side front mounting bracket were beat open and are now about 2" tall.
We thought about going to the Pick and Pull and taking one off a compatible truck they have there and then I thought about how to break rivets without access to power or air and thought better of that idea.
Then we thought about welding backing plates with new holes over the beat open holes but access to do the welding is a nightmare.
I was hoping that someone here might have suggestion - or a mounting bracket lying around collecting dust.
