Help with spare

I have a 90 ranger and I'm trying to get the spare out, problem is i can't find any tool that will fit through the slot to loosen the nut up with. Any ideas?

Look on top of the radiator, thats prrobably where it is and the jack is probably behind the passenger seat.

If I remember correctly, everything to remove the spare tire is located in the truck. The "wrench" thing that is with the jack will work and fit in the slot I can gaurantee!
