gear ratio question
ford 76 4x4 f100 390
I purchased the pickup with 33.5" tires instead of stock 28.34".
I did the math and need to go from 3.50 to 4.10 to keep within stock ratio. Im considering going to 4.56 for added performance. The reason the big jump is because of the dana 44 up front. It appears its the next matching ratio to the ford 9".
Is this a good idea ...or maybe keep looking for smaller dana gears?
