Welders Needed

For those of you that don't venture into the 1948-1960 Truck forum or the Paint & Bodywork forum, the guys in the 48-60 are preparing a Tech Article on various welding techniques. They have invited us to participate with any tips, tricks, imput and/or knowledge you may have to help create this tech articles. Just click on the link below and join in.

Group Tech Article Input - Welding

I think that this is a great idea and can see this helping many people down the line.

Thanks.

The guy I used to weld for told me this: you will never know everything about welding, nobody does. I've welded for 46 years and I learn new stuff all the time. When you do learn everything about welding, your probobly in the triple digits age wise.

I'll check out welding tech article though, since I'm in welding school!

Also check into www.millerwelds.com under the "ask Andy" section.
It's a question and answer forum and Andy is a Miller tech.
You'll have new first time to members who are nuclear certified besides pictures of welds and projects. Some of these members can weld better than a machine weld.

Schmids; that's a great weave I have, "hell no I have the shakes".
So true you can never learn it all, when I've been away from the Miller Synchrowave 350 Tig machine a 1992 loaded I'll forget about all the adjustments it has. More ***** and switches to twist and flip than a woman to get started and women are overly complicated. I see the new Miller 350 Synchrowaves have a lot less adjustments to work for a more customer friendly machine but then you lost the fine tuning ability.

350 Synchrowave loaded w/pulser control, preflow, postflow, spotweld, backround amp control, water cooled torch.
251 Millermatic w/30A spoolgun
