Well, I've done all the repairs and am pretty happy, but still have an idle problem and some missing at low rpms. My symptoms still match up with the popular bad plenum gasket I see on here often.

Does this have another name? I can't find it in Haynes.
Is this something I should do, or take it some place?

How much should I expect it to cost? I realize the hourly wage here might be different, so I guess a better question is, how long should it take a pro?

Could someone post a plenum gasket replacement procedure? (pictures would also help.)

I've sene a couple crude methods to determine if it is bad. Any solid method for determining if it needs to be replaced?
