Differnces between '77 and '79 302s
I've discovered that the 302 in my 77 f150 is not original and is from a 79. I'm planning a rebuild in the coming months. Are there any differences between the two that I should be made aware of?

I think the heads are different - different style rockers and different length pushrods. The rest should be similar enough. While your rebuilding, why not swap in a set of E7TE heads from an 87 up truck or Mustang for a cost-effective power increase.
