I see I can check my oil pressure by removing the oil pressure switch and attaching a gauge--question--do I need a particular type of gauge or can I just get one at my local auto parts dealer? Thanks
Well you'll need a pressure gauge that will read at least 60 psi & some fittings & pressure hose attachments. Your auto parts store should be able to fix you up.
While your in the mood to spend a little money & are tinkering around down there, why not do the oil pressure gauge sending unit fix, so the gauge indicates REAL oil presure.
The "how to" fix, is listed in the "technical" thread, atop this forum.
