Jeweled Headlights
I recently purchased a 2005 F350 XL DRW. It was a leftover 2005 that I feel that I got a decent deal on.
It is a work truck, but I am making improvements to it to make it MINE!
My question: The truck has the sealed beam headlights. I want to replace them with the jeweled headlights. So far all I can find are the jeweled headlights for model years up to 2004. Anyone know of a place online where I could get the 2005 jeweled headlights?
Anyone know if this is a major task to switch them out?
I have always wanted a diesel. I am really excited to have this truck. Was never really in the financial position to afford a diesel until now. Even though I did not get a Lariat or XLT I am still proud of my truck. I am going to have to change my screenname to BIG RIG or something.

I belive you can get the 05 headlights for a FORD dealer. SOme of them have on-line stores. One of the those is forpartsonline.
You also going to need a headlight hanrness if you want to get the most of the lights.
We carry the 9007 Heavy Duty headlight harness for pre-05 FORDs, and the 9008 harness for 05+. We also carry the conversion harness for those that have a pre-05 but want to upgrade to the 05 headlights. Its a 9007 plug into the factory harness to a 9008 bulbs. Bulbs are also available on our sight under the Lighting section.

I'm guessing you will need to get the 9008 pigtails since you have the sealed beam which is a H4 connector? Or something like that. The headlights are fairly cheap from the dealer, like $100 +/- $25 each. Should be an easy swap since you already have the 05+ header panel, basically bolt off, replace pigtails, bolt on and you're good to go.
