need some work done...
Hey list,
im the owner of a 92 f150 4x4....5.0 5 spd...
i need someone that knos these trucks fairly well, as i need to get it well, fixed....i have 2 jobs and a new baby...and my area of knowledge is carburation, not fuel injection......
would anyone like to help me out, (i can offer cash, beer, etc) id just kinda like to get this sorted out before winter hits.......and my regular mechanic says its fixed, but it never really is.....(time for him to be my exmechanic)
anyway the problem,
horrible idle...goes up and down like a yo yo...from 700 or so to almost stall, then back up again......
tried iac...no big difference...
running horribly rich....terrible gas milage, even for a f150, and a gas smell..as well as black inside exhaust pipe......
as i said, if anyone that knows these trucks well wouldnt mind spending an afternoon with it, id be much appreciated.....as i love it, but if i cant figure this out soon, itll have to go.....

You know i'll be able to help you once i harvest gets finished and i get a few things wrapped up down here myself (unless you want to do something after work or something). But yeah just let me know what would work good for you.
