I don't know. Seems like Thomas (Travlnman) changed his and, if I remember correctly, suggested paying to have it done. Apparety it took some time and effort.
Yes I did, and yes I do. However, I should say that if you have the parts in hand, and have a couple of days to devote to it, and a good friend to help with the heavy stuff, it's very doable. The primary reason I suggest someone else, is that I did not have the total time to devote to it, so it was done a little at a time. You will need a hydraulic floor jack, JACKSTANDS!!!, and be prepared to remove at least part of the exhaust piping. Oh yeah, and be sure to drain the tranny first.
If you pay to have it done, plan on at least $1000.00. My thing was also that I didn't really have that to pay, and I was fortunate enough to have access to an extra vehicle to drive while I worked on it.
Lastly, if you do it yourself, do it all. I replaced disc, pressure plate, throwout (release bearing) , pilot bearing, slave cylinder, and master cylinder. I don't post as much as I would like, but if you have trouble, I'll give any advice I can. Good luck!
