Simple warrenty question?
Had my 03 in to the dealership yesterday for some non- warrenty work and while it was there, I mentioned that the oil dipstick "T" handle was broken and would they get a new one for me. He told me that they had to order it and after I got home and closely looked over the bill, noticed that they charged me for the dipstick ($26 and some change). Wouldn't this be covered under the 100k engine warrenty?
I know that a broken "T" handle on a dipstick sounds kind of pickey, but I want things right!

Yep, I'm over the 36k mark and I forgot all about the $100 deductable. Thanks for the info....I can say now that I didn't have the look of a dumb a$$ in front of the service writer. Picked up my new dipstick and went on my way. Thanks again for the advice.
