I've been looking into replacing the carpet in my 78. The places I've checked (LMC, eBay) indicate that carpet from 1980 and up doesn't fit in the older trucks. I did find a pretty good deal on eBay ($100) for new carpet.

Molded carpets can be a pain! I would check a 80's model truck and check the measurements. I know the 73-79 trucks had two sizes of humps.

Carpet
My molded carpet fit perfectly and looks just like factory new. Go directly to Auto Custom Carpets in Alabama. They're the manufacturer for most of what you see for sale on ebay or distributors. No cutting or anything involved, lays right in there. I paid $129 for my '79 F150.
