W/W Question

I've seen a few different wheels out there, ie; wicked wheel, swisher wheel, superior compressor wheel etc. etc. They all look the same to me, would any given one be different than another (other than price) or are they all pretty much the same.

Any info. would be appriciated.

they are all made by the same company (garrett) and then sold to dealers who put their own names on them. i have the superior wheel from black-cloud, but i prefer to call it a wicked wheel, because it just sounds, well, wicked. (no pun intended)

Actually, the are all made by Switzer...not Garrett.

They are also known to reduce boost pressure and performance for some people. The stock later model wheel is better for performance once you address the surge issue with something like an ATS Ported Shroud housing. Yes, the housing costs more...but it works better.

BTW...why do vendors have to name their parts ("Wicked Wheel" or "Superior Wheel", etc.). Do these same people name their trucks and privates? I just don't get it??? Granted...Wicked Wheel is a kinda cool name..."Superior Wheel" just sounds stupid!
