Anyone know of a site that lists how to get the actuators out of the door. I'm sure there is an easy way but I couldn't figure it out by looking in the door.
thanks guys, i was just about to ask the same thing! thanks for the info... now if i could get someone to buy them for me, and put them in for me, i would be in heaven!!!! lol just kidding thanks the deno
I recently had this problem with my '99 F350 on the rear driver side door (I found it odd that only one actuator went out, and I'm fearful the rest will follow). I took the panel apart looking for an easy solution, but in the end had to replace the lock actuator.
On the good side, I DID find someone else to do it for me! My local Ford dealer . Even better, the cost was just under $125 out the door. Maybe I just don't know how easy the labor is and how cheap the part(s) are, but I was surprised. They originally quoted me "around $250" so I was double surprised.
