Yesterday I noticed that the front passenger door lock was not unlocking when I used either the keyfob or the inside door switches. The other doors were locking and unlocking fine. How much does a new actuator cost? What is Ford's part number for it? Can the new actuator be replaced by me or is it a job for the dealer? The truck is a 2002 F350 7.3L PSD 4x4 CC SB SRW.

 

Its a pretty easy job to do yourself. I think the average cost of the actuator is around 45 bucks, give or take a few. Kind of pricey for what they are, but at least you only have one to replace.
