CMP Synchronizer change

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer with the 4.0 push rod (overhead Valve) engine. It blew, so I have replaced it with a 97 or 98 vintage 4.0 pushrod motor. The CMP Sychronizer and sensor are a different configuration than the 2000, so I am forced to swap the CMP Sychronizer and Sensor from 2000 to the 97 motor. I am having a very difficult time finding the Synchro Positioner tool to make sure I have it timed correctly. The manual I have says I need tool number 303-589, however, a OTC tool catalog is showing it as 303-638. Can anyonr shed any light on the tool required. So far, I have positioned both engines to 0 deg TDC, marked the position of the blade on the synchro body on the 2000 engine. Removed it, transfered it to the 97 engine and have everything lined up by eyeball. The blade is aligned with the mark I made and the sensor is oriented like it was before I swapped them. The timing is close, so I don't know what possible problems it might cause if it is not exactly on. Any input would be welcome.

Answered my on question. OTC tool number is 6483 and was available at a really good parts house nearby. Doubt AZ or Advance would have it.
