Thunderbird question

My dad has a 1993 ford thunderbird with a 3.8L fuel injection
the car has fire to the distributor, but it wont start
it will just sit there and turn over and over
it died on him after his trip to work, and it is an every day driver to work
any ideas on what the problem would be?
sorry this is on the ford trucks site but i didnt know if there was a ford cars or not
thanks in advance

Could be a bad coil, bad ignition module, broken timing chain, broken camshaft, bad crank position sensor (most likely) bad cam position sensor (next most likely)...

I'd start with a diagnostic scan tool, that will give you a reading of the two sensors.

Check for gas? Fuel pumps and relays have a bad habit of dying once you shut the engine off.

You also might want to ask at the Thunderbird and Cougar Club of America.
