You take one side off and the other slides right out after you remove the hold up arms.

Whatever you do, puts lots of penetrating fluid on the bolts for the holder(s) the night before, and use a small wrench and use little torque as possible. I broke several of these when I took one off a junker truck and broke some on mine too. The rust really sets in one these bolts. They are a bare to drill & retap...been there done that :-X23
