All guages went dead...
the guage cluster lights work as well as the high beam indicator, but no guages.
I looked up how to check the voltage regulator and I placed a test light from ground to the back of several guages and got nothing.
Is this sound like the voltage regualtor and where do you get a new one.
Thanks, KarlJay.
If not ,I have a few here.
I just posted a photo of one on the electrical forum.
Did you put a testlight on the harness side of the connectors with the key on to check for pulsing power ?

I put one on ground and then one on the harness at the back of the cluster, and got nothing. I also check the connection from ground to the back of the fuel level wire at the harness too and got just a little resistance. So it looks like I'll be needing another regulator.
Funny thing is that I spent half the day at the junk yard looking for good ***** and trying to pull some 4x4 front hubs and passed by several of them.
I wonder why it worked fine yesterday and went dead when I re-installed it today.
