says ford. right on the website. v-6 is the only engine avaible with a manual tranny the 4.6 is auto only. same goes fro the previous generation using the modular engines.
Maybe in CALIFORNIA, you can't get a stick w/the V8, but I know I did the "build your own" on ford's website for the new Mustang and the "standard" tranny was a stick.
Also, PLENTY of Mustangs back to '96 have sticks, and you can shove a Mustang tranny into an MN12 ('89-'97 t-bird/cougar/Mark VIII) w/the 4.6L.
What I'd like to know is - did they really change the bellhousing on the 3-valve V10 ???
