Odometer/Trip Odometer Question
I have a 2005 F150 FX4 Ext Cab, was previous Silverado owner. One thing that irritates me about the ford is the Odometer. I prefer to see the trip odometer all the time. Obviously I can switch to it by pushing the odometer button, but whenever the truck is turned off, it defaults back to the total miles odometer and not the trip odometer. My old chevy just stayed at wahteve the last selection was, so I had no issue with the chevy.
My question is: Is there a way to change the default view to trip odometer? I just have the base odometer (temp, 8-pt compass, odometer) not the one with mpg, distance to empty, etc. I found nothing in the owners manual.
