oil line

got a 97, the high pressure braided oil line to the right head blew a hole. truck quit, got codes p0340 p0344 p1211 and p0603. understand why the iap code come up when all the new amsoil in the crank pissed out a week after i changed it, but curious about the the CMP codes, also do you need to bleed the air from the oil line and how.

it may have just started spewing null codes with the real codes just cause so much is going on at the same time. not bleeding nessacary. new line and fire 'er up. i would let it idle for about 20 minutes before bringing it up off idle to get the air out.

The CMP codes were set when it died. Clear them and it should be fine. It might not start right back up after you change the line, make sure the HPOP is topped off and crank it for 10-15 second bursts if it doesn't light right off. Should bleed itself in fairly short order.
