Front rotors.
To make a long story short Ford finally replaced the front rotors under warranty, 15K miles later the same thing all over again. This time it was out of my pocket. The problem surfaced once again 10K miles later. This time they resurfaced the rotors.
No one knows why it is warping the front rotors so soon. I am just waiting now to see what happens next, since the van now has only 48K total miles on it.. The rear rotors are in good shape and show very little wear. The van is not used for towing or anything heavy like that, its primary use is for long haul camping trips several times a year, it stays parked most of the time.
I like the way it runs and rides, even the MPG it gets, even with the V-10 it gets 14.5-15 MPG on trips, thats better than the E-150 (351ci) it replaced.
Brakes are a wear item, ifmemory serves me right they are only covered for the first year or 12K miles of ownership, at least this was the way it was for the 02 van.... You may want to check your owners manual.
