vin#'s on frame ?

Does anybody know if the vin #s are stamped on the frame of 1961 -1966 f100 truck?

On my '66, I found it in two places: on the top surface of the frame below the battery and under the rear of the cab, also on the top and right side of the frame.

Hi Mark, As 6t6 posted on the top of the passenger side frame rail, just ahead of where the front axle crosses under. Sometimes it is hard to dig out, but it's there. It runs length ways of the rail. Numerals are about 1/8" high.
