Fan Switch

Last week my alternator died , after I replaced it with a rebuilt one the fan keeps on running after the ignition switch is shut off. I have to turn off the heater-vent switch to make the fan shut off. If I don't the battery is dead the next morning. Is there a relay or something that has to be replaced? thanks SAV

Check the Solenoid and see if its stuck on.
Also check the ignition cylinder, pull the key out and try to turn it forward. If it moves a little and the fan shuts off then you might just need to adjust the ignition switch a little.

Cheers,
Tim

Found the problem

Found the problem last weekend. I had to charge the battery sat agan, when I hooked up the charger I saw the flashers flash twice. I realised that it was the Bulldog remote starter. The remote is only one year old and I have not used it all summer (go figger) . I pulled it out now the truck starts great. That is the second Bulldog remote that has gone bad . I guess I just have to go out and start it on the cold mornings agan. Thanks Popa Tim for trying to help.
