I personally never recommend the use of rubber lines when it comes to fuel. I know you'll find some on here that will disagree, but with the cost of steel lines only being a few cents more per-foot then rubber, you can't ignore the safty factor. The best way to avoid vapor lock is to keep a cool running engine (between 160 and 180*f). Then make sure you run your lines as far away from any heat sourse as possible. Keep the lines away from the exhaust and heater hoses and off the intake manifold as much as possible.
