So you are saying you run with them LOCKED all the time.

Because there is no load on any of those components with the hubs locked and NOT running in 4x4, there is almost no wear... gear lube in the front-end doesn't need any more changing than normal ...
Sure, the seals get used more, which can be a problem in the long haul, but I'm not saying to lock the hubs all the time.
I just mean that if you're worried about driving on the highway with your hubs locked, don't be.
why dont guys run like that all the time then. When you turn on 4wd you will have confidence it will be there at least. I guess the next step up would be to put some Warns up front and you could leave them locked OR if you needed 2wL you could get out and unlock them and shift it into 4wd.
