81 F-250 keeps stalling
I just picked this truck up from an auction. It acts like it is going to run ok, and sounds good for about 5 minutes, then starts sputtering, backfires, and dies. If I try to restart it dies again right away. After about 5 minutes of being off, it will start right up again and run for a couple minutes again before dying again. Please help me out with any suggestions.

Take the aircleaner off. Get it running, and when it stalls and won't start, hop up in the engine compartment and look down the throat of the carb. Push back on the throttle with your hand, and you should see two strong streams of fuel pour into the engine.
If you don't see any fuel, you know it's a fuel problem, and you can investigate from there.
