Dash light problem.....
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-Jun-02 AT 12:34 PM (EST)]Alright.... Easy question.... My right turn signal indicator light -> dimmly illuminates when I turn my running/driving lights on. If I begin to actuate my right turn lever the light goes out before my turn signal is activated. When activated my turn signal indicator works normally. The illumination is not bleed through from the other bulbs in the dash. I swapped out all the guages, the guage housing, and the plastic circuit thing in the back. All my bulbs are functioning properly. Why is this happening?

Dash light problem.....
You have a short in the wiring on the right side of the vehicle.
Check:
Right rear light socket with brake light /running light and the wiring
to it.
Check the right front light socket for turn signal/running light and the wiring to it.
Start with unplugging the bulb at the rear >look at turn signal indicator light to see if it comes on >
then the take out the front signal/running light bulb to see if it lights up the turn signal indicator with the running lights on.
With the bulbs removed and if the light for the turn indicator illuminates,the problem is the wiring.
It is just a "Process of elimination".
