injection pump wire I.D.???
There are five wires and three connectors on my '86 6.9 liter eng. Injection pump, two go to the shut off solenoid, two come from a sending unit in the intake manifold and one yellow one is for???

No sending unit in the intake manifold.
Tach sender is located in the IP drive gear housing.
Under the alternator by the thermostat housing is the coolant temp switch for the fast idle and timing advance.
Fuel shut off solenoid is drivers side front of the IP.
Timing advance is right behind that.
Fast idle is on the passenger side of the IP.
Under the AC compressor in the block is the sending unit for the temp gauge.
In front of the drivers side exhaust manifold in the head is the temp light switch.
In the block behind the intake manifold a bit to the passenger side of center is the oil pressure sending unit.
In the back of the passenger side head is the coolant temp sensor for the glow plug system.
