rounded nut

I just got my truck and was fixing some pre-exsisting problems when I found that there was oil all over the driver's side under the hood. I tracked it down to the power steering lines, and found that the top line (compressed steel on rubber line) was loose. When I went to wrench on it, I found that the small nut holding the line in, was rounded off. I have no idea how to get it out of there. I was thinking some Vice Grip bolt removers but thought maybe you guys would have a better suggestion. Let me know cause the smoke from this think is ruining my driving experience.

I would say vise grips are the way to go. You should also replace the lines, obviously.

Vice grips first. If that doesn't work, I'd take a dremel and make some straight edges so I could get a wrench on it. Finally, as two last resorts, use dremel and cut off wheel and make cuts from top down and the use a whacking screwdriver on each side to work it out then a chisel.

got it out with a monkey wrench. It was cheaper than the vise grips.
