help with codes

i have a 92 4x4 f150 with a 302. It has the ever popular high idle. i recently pulled the codes (23,29,41,53,63). i figure replacing the throttle position sensor would be a good place to start, since 23, 53, and 63 point to it. i had a question about 29 and 41. what the heck is HEGO. could these codes be caused by the potentialy bad tps?

HEGO is the o2 (Oxygen) sensor. If you haven't replaced it in the last 60,000 miles it time to replace it anyways and running rich destroys these so you probably do need one.

Did you typo? 29 is VSS - Vehicle speed sensor which is in the rear axle. It rarely goes bad, pull it and wipe it off and reinstall. If you still get the code look for damaged wiring.

Cheers,
