front leaf springs
hey guys, quick question about leaf springs. i'm wondering what years inter change with one another as far as front springs go. i have a 78 f-250 and am wondering what my options are for more lift ( have 4" skyjacker springs now ).

the superduty front springs bolt in, you can get up to siz inch springs from skyjacker for your truck, you can fab longer shackles and drop hangers, you can get custom made springs to any height you want......

Kubota have you seen the SD springs installed? I purchased a set off ebay with 14in of lift and going to install them on my 77.5 crew. From all the measurments they will be perfect just havent done it yet.

I thought they looked just like the ones in my '74 highboy, but wasn't sure

Only the fronts will work on a highboy and lowboy. The rears are a different width and lenth on the highboys so they will only fit right on the lowboy rears, kinda sucked I was thinkin about putting them on my 70 crewcab instead of the 77. Also it looks like the eyes of the springs are a little larger so a bigger bolt will be needed and the hangers eys opened up a little. I picked mine up off ebay for like 500 bucks,14in of lift on the SD and these springs are meaty they make the skyjackers look like babys.

ok after looking at ivan's gallery i've decided to make some new drop mounts. i know we have some scrap steele laying around the shop. i'll get started on them tomorrow. thanks for the help...

and wouldn't that mean that if we so pleased that we could use skyjackers z bar front suspention? (with less mods than a full on custom)
