Fuel Line
This is for a 351 Windsor in a '77 LTD. I'm trying to get the fuel pump out but I can't get the metal line off. I'm not sure if I'm wrenching at the right spot. There are two hex heads that meet the pump...a 12 mm nut on the line itself, then a larger 9/16" that is flush with the pump inlet. I can't get either to budge, and I'm afraid to pry too hard for fear of breaking the line. What do I need to be doing?
I also need to replace the rubber hose that goes from the pump to the gas tank line; what kind of hose do I ask for at the parts store? Thanks.

My mistake, the nut in question was actually a 1/2". A flare wrench on the nut and a 9/16" open-end wrench on the pump inlet to hold it steady did the trick. For the fuel hose, I ended up using a foot of 3/8" fuel hose and it seems to work fine.
