fold out bed

I have been watching for those e-350 vans that have been converted to a bed on back half on e-bay. While I havent scored one yet, I am wondering about the size of the bed that folds out of the back seat. I am 6 ft 3 and obviously need some room to stretch out, so can anyone tell me about how large those beds really are?? I don't know if they are the same ones used in the regular vans, because the ones I have been watching have a wider body in the area behind the front seats.Thanx

I have a Sportsmobile conversion with a kitchenette that slides out into a bed. A very nicely done piece.

The walls are not far enough apart to be able to lie side-to-side in themselves, unless you're pretty short. Sportsmobile cuts into the wall ribs to give substantially more width. I'm 5'10" and can sleep ok going side-to-side. However, the cutouts are not padded and the way they did them they're level with the top of the padding. So you sink into the padding a bit and your foot kinda hangs elevated a bit on the bottom of the cutout. I usually sleep diagonally and there's plenty of room for that.

I'm not 100% comfortable with cutting into the ribs like that, but they cut them out entirely to make room for windows so I guess it's not structurally unsound.
