Connecting MP3 Player BLUES!!!!
Check this out,
I have an 01 explorer EB. THere is no cd changer or CDDJ in the vehicle, but the head unit is the mach unit that supports a changer, (I figured this out by pressing the mode button and it goes to CDDJ and says "no CDDJ") So I wanted to wire my mp3 player in by purchasing an aux input cable. the one I found is supposed to plug into the back of the HU into the 20 pin connector that the changer or CDDJ would plug into. upon pulling out the HU, I discovered that the slot for the 20 pin connector was non-existent. What is up with that? you could see the indention where it was supposed to be but there was nothing to plug the harness into. ANYONE SEEN THIS BEFORE? I'm open for any suggestions!
