69 bronco

I am going to purchase a bronco with a 351 already instaled . if anyone has one of these can they tell me how hard it is to put good headers in and also it has drum brakes up front ... how hard is it to put power disks on the front... also the dana 30 is busted how hard will it be to swap the axle to a dana 44 (or what ever is apropriate) and keep my 6 inch lift and stearing conponents ... what kind of price range am i looking at

Headers won't be bad. Any of the EB parts houses has them that will work with a 351. If the 30 is busted try to get a later 44 that already has disc brakes. The way the 44 and 30 attach to the frame is the same so your lift won't change. The only steering difference would be if you get a 44 from a 76-77 EB. They use an inverted y steering. Not the best setup but it can be converted to the earlier version.

thanks ... i was only concerned because of the larger than stock motor size on the small bronco i will have to wait until i get home to inspect the stearing because it has already been upgraded to power stearing and they might have done something .... CREATIVE ..... how hard is the power brake convershion..?

The header install is easy.
On mine I had to make 1 modification. I had to modify the bellcrank because the extra height of the 351 raised the header into it's path.
I used JDuff headers.
