Sorry, just thought the word was funny - I am also bad at spelling, I would not post if it were not for the spell checkers. Your meaning was clear, and I was a clod for pointing out an error.

Talk about the kettle calling the pot black -

I do sincerely apologize.

I don't know? It's under the glove box, it's black with a chrome square cover, and blows hot air out, even when I don't want it to.

I'm using the orginal Magic Air unit in my 51 F1. Part of the fresh air intake tube was missing so I have removed the remaining section of tube and I'm using it as a rescurulation unit. I made the mistake of painting the inside of the housing with Hammered look rust paint. It smells pretty bad when I fire it up, although I think it's starting to subside now, either that or I'm getting used to it.

On the 51 model year the Magic Air unit with the fresh air intake was available with the 5 star cab, it is the most popular unit with the restorers. Saw one complete unit on ebay go for $300.00 awhile back.

my heater is built into the air conditioning unit (vintage air) its recirculating but doesn't work any better than the stock one...in the winter neither one worked well, the air is only warm... my engine just won't warm up, even with a 190 thermostat...

dunno

I think mine is a fresh air...it's always blowing hot out of it...no matter what. It really gets blowing when I drive down the road. It has a fan and when I turn that on, I swear it could pass for a sauna. One day, I gotta get that thing to stop blowing in the summer...

Fix the heater control valve so it shuts off the hot water from the motor to the heater core.
