Sup y'all,
I have about $1500 to spend on the truck and I'd like your opinion on what to spend it on. A guy I know is selling 20's with Goodyear Eagles already on them for $1500, and I need tires, however, I think I'll regret it. I've always wanted to do the exhaust, air intake, chip things like that. Should I go for the rims and tire combo or just buy some nice tires and try to sqeeze a couple performance upgrades into the beast? Thanks in advance, this is the best forum ever.
If you think you'll regret the 20's and you've always wanted to do performance upgrades, then it's a no brainer. Get the new tires you need and the performance parts you've wanted, doesn't get much easier.
Do the 20's necessitate a front disc brake upgrade because of added unsprung weight? Will those 20's ever go off-road? I'm on the beach alot, low profile tires don't air down very well. Go with broncoholic's advise.
Take the $1500 and put on an exhaust system, maybe a CAI if you want. And, throw some money into maintenence, such as O2 sensors, fuel filter, plugs, that type of thing. AND, lets see some pics. \
