OK, 1988 F150 4x4, factory 4:10's
rear axel housing.. found out that the right axel tube has a slight tweak forward seemed to have been hit from behind somehow in its past,
problem is that its not right first of all, and its dripping from the seam where it fits into the pumpkin, I'm figgerin on just changin the whole axel itself, but I'm having trouble finding a factory replacement with ABS, also, the axel tag is missing, (possible that it had some work done at some time..)
which is kinda leaving me at a halt, due to the fact that I dont know whats inside... I know its not a ford nine, its a rear entry cover with ten bolts
anyone know what ford put in for rear ends in 1988? --its a heavy duty tow package with a 4:10 limited slip. -Also wonderin, if I cant find a replacement, what axel housings can I use to transfer the internals I have?
