Power Mirrors

I have a 2000 Super Duty XLT. When purchased the truck did not have power mirrors. Has anyone installed the power mirrors on a non power mirror truck? I have the 06 chrome mirrors with the turn signal and running light in the mirror. Can I purchase from Ford the arm rest control panel that has the power mirror option in the right color and is there a wiring harness that can be simply plugged in?

I don't beleive that Ford adds the wire harness if the option was not ordered at the time of the build.

I added tow mirrors to my 04 that had the little girlie mirrors... The only options that my mirrors had was the power option ...

I installed the lighted, blinkered, headed, telescopic mirrors to my truck...it was plug and play...

I would gues that you will be good to go if you already have the lights in your mirrors...

I have the girlie mirrors on my 2000, and im looking for a set of the tow mirrors. Anyone know where i can get a set for a 2000?

evil bay is your best way to go....

You will be all set if you just want the basic tt mirrors... but if you want options your gonna need to do some wiring...
