Another hedder question
I'm looking at either the Hedman street or the Hooker competition. Anyone got either set? One question I really wanted to ask was what kind of gaskets ya'll use? My brother keeps swearing up and down when he gets the money he is going to purchase manifolds for his 351 because he keeps burning through his gaskets and he says the hedders have been nothing but a headache. If you've got a suggestion on the gaskets where do you get the gaskets from?

Well I have never had any problems with exhausts leaks, and I have been running headers on my vehicle's for 35 years now! (and yes they made headers back then)
As long as the headers have a nice flat flange and straight, and the head mating surfarce is clean and Staight and not warped! You shouldnt have any problems!!
