Help! Small parts needed...

Sorry for cross posting but I know there are a lot of guys on this board that don't read the 335 Forum. So...

First, I need a top alt bracket. I swapped a 302C for a 400 and the top brackets don't interchange.

Second, I need a single OR double groove water pump pulley that measures 5 7/8" diameter x 2 5/8" deep. I measured the depth by placing the pulley end flat on my work bench and measuring to the top of the snout.

I'm in the Florida Panhandle (Lower Alabama) and UPS, FedEx, USPS is fine. I can pay by PayPal if you like. Thanks.

Sounds like you need to do some wandering thru a good old salvage yard.

Junkyards around here have nothing older than the mid 80's that's why I'm on here asking for spares. There is no money in anything older than 10-15 years of age so the yard operators tell me. So, they just crush and scrap anything that is too old.

Back to my original post....anyone have these parts?

What are you looking at time wise? I can get one but not sure when I'll have the chance- I'll look to see if i have one handy- might... but if not I can look elsewhere unless someone does have one handy to send to you.

I may have some of those parts, I converted to a Serpentine system and I had to relocate the Alternator. I'll check later today.

Thanks guys. Time wise would as soon as possible...7-10 days, maybe. I'm trying to get the motor ready to drop in and I need to make some pulley spacers.

I have bad news and good news.
The bad news is that I think that I sold the water pump pulley.
The good news is that I do have the alternator upper bracket, and it is Chrome plated.
I can send a photo to your email. Send me an email with your address, if you are interested.

Thanks for looking Dan, but it looks like I've got my bracket from another guy who e-mailed me just before I checked back here. I do still need a pulley and I'm sure one will pop up. A lot of folks have been pretty helpful.

Many of the salvage yards near the cities seem to be move it or crush it operations. To find salvage yards that keep everything no matter what the year you need to get out away from the cities where land is cheap.

I'm a little surprised that you didn't simply stroke the 302 to a 351 or a 377 or similar. Stock iron 4bbl intake for 2V heads, Australian heads - it could hardly get better.

525+HP & 550+ft-lbs on pump gas and street driveable.....pretty tough to get that kind of street power out of a 377/393 stroker.
