Interior Lights
Hi all. I have a 97 2WD (3 door) that has cargo lights that work with the door switches and dash lamp control but the dome and courtesy lights don't - just the map lights if using the switches. Bulbs are all good but no power to them with the doors open. The Haynes manual has everything about the doors and bulbs and nothing about the door switches. Can you tell me where the door switches are located, in the door, the jamb or striker - I can't locate them. Any suggestions to get these working appreciated.

Hello again. My dome light is repaired. No big deal either. I thought I'd check to see if the wire had been cut or was bad running to the light and found that the grounds that are made through the screws to the cab were dirty. Map light uses the driver side screw, dome light, the passenger side screw. A quick clean and tighten and I have light again. Thanks to all that replied.
